The best part of this procedure for fat reduction is that once our CoolSculpting ® technician does CoolSculpt your body, you are able to leave our office and return to your daily routine, work, errands, recreation or family time. There is no downtime and your CoolSculpt session only takes about one hour per treatment.
Are you a good candidate for CoolSculpt procedures?
At Orange County CoolSculpting ®, we perform many CoolSculpt procedures each day, using the latest technology from Zeltiq – the Pleasanton, California based company which developed CoolSculpting ® devices with worldwide acclaim.
The first step toward determination of whether you are a great candidate for CoolSculpt treatment is to meet with our staff at Orange County CoolSculpting ®. Because our staff are trained by Zeltiq, we have exceptional experience in CoolSculpt candidacy, device usage and successful treatment of patients. If CoolSculpt is not right for you and will not provide the results you seek, you will be directed towards more effective options for contouring and sculpting of your best body.
Best candidates are those with small to moderate amounts of fat on their hips, thighs, arms, back and abdomen. These individuals are usually healthy and fit. CoolSculpt treatments cannot be used to treat obesity and is intended for very targeted fat removal. The treated region of fat will be reduced by about 30 to 35 percent.
During the initial consultation, you will be asked questions about your medical history. It is always important to be open and honest about medical history and reasons you are seeking to CoolSculpt your body.
If our CoolSculpting ® technician believes you are a good candidate for CoolSculpt, she will next take photographs of your areas to be treated and take measurements to later analyze the results. She will provide instructions for preparing you for your CoolSculpt appointment and additional details you seek. You can then schedule your session, during which our CoolSculpting ® technician will CoolSculpt your body into a better shape.
How does CoolSculpt work?
Two great attributes of the CoolSculpt procedure are that it is fairly quick and painless. Our CoolSculpting ® technician will CoolSculpt your desired body areas in about an hour each.
At the beginning of your CoolSculpt procedure, you will be settled into a comfortable position. The CoolSculpt devices will then be placed on your body areas designated for treatment. Each device consists of an applicator paddle with a hose attached, through which controlled cooling is delivered to your fat. Only fat is frozen, as skin and muscle require lower temperatures to freeze than fat. AT the end of the CoolSculpting ® procedure, a light massage of the treated areas at the end of the session will ensure return of healthy blood flow to the area. This simple maneuver has been shown to enhance the result of the CoolSculpted area by increasing the number of crystalized fat cells. You will then be able to return to your day’s activities.
